Petra Wadström
Konstnären Petra Wadström är uppfinnaren bakom Solvatten.
”I developed Solvatten after seeing the problems caused by the lack of safe drinking water in Indonesia. I had just spent time in Australia. It took many years and prototypes but eventually the idea was realized. My mission is to provide Solvatten to everyone who has the need for safe water. We believe that we can get Solvatten to the people at ”the base of the pyramid” where Solvatten can transform people’s lives. I strongly believe in self-help so it is important both that we make it affordable and that the users invest in it, so they value Solvatten and take good care of it.”
Solvatten provides safe and warm water. It is easy to use, saves time, money and firewood, and improves health and the environment. Solvatten contributes to the realisation of the UN Millenium Development Goals.
